Funeral Details - Kerry Smith (1961)

The OGA has been advised of the passing of Kerry Smith (1961). Her funeral will be held at 10.30am on Monday, 27 July at St Paul's Anglican Church, 554 Vulture Street East, East Brisbane. Family, friends and former studetns are invited to attend.
Kerry passed away gracefully and with dignity on Wedneasday, 15 July 2026. She was an acclaimed Queensland violinist and winner of a Churchill Fellowship in 1966 to study violin in England under Hungarian violinist Professor Gyorgy Pauk. She later taught for many years at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music. May she long be remembered by all of her students and colleagues.
