Outback Rowing Project for Rural Old Girl Rowers - 5 and 6 October 2024

The Outback Rowing Project organised by Outback Rowing Australia is a sporting event unique in Australia, perhaps in the world: a dual format rowing regatta over two days combining the speed and excitement of a Henley-style elimination series with the endurance spectacle of a head race, all set amongst the spectacular backdrop of the Australian Outback. A series of serious competition combined with camaraderie and fun in the bush.

Outback Rowing Australia would like to build a bush towns network of school boarders who may have rowed in their time and could be looking to reengage with this great sport for all ages. They plan to have 6-week intensive return-to-row activities and then the participating crew will come to the Outback Rowing Event on the Kings' Brithday weekend, 5 and 6 October 2024.
