
News from the PMSA AGM - 14th June, 2021

On Monday 14th June, 2021 the PMSA held their AGM. Key highlights and achievements were outlined by outgoing Chair Morgan Parker and CEO Sharon Callister in addition to incoming Chair Peter Barker sharing his vision. The PMSA Board has approved $75 million of capital development projects across the four schools including the Somerville House Senior School Precinct development and "Somerfields" sporting complex at Dunn Road, Rocklea.
Unanimous support from the PMSA Board was accounced for the establishment of an Outdoor Learning Campus available to all four schools to be based at Mount Moon in the Pacific Rim region to be commissioned in 2024. This will be a purpose-built world class outdoor learning campus for the Year 9 cohort to attend a one term experience with the ability to select term to align with academic and co-curricular activities. The project is pegged to be a "game-changer" offering a unique competitive advantage to all four PMSA schools.
