Seeking Old Girl Support for ANZAC Day assembly at Somerville House
As Anzac Day approaches on the 25th April, 2022 we remember the many Old Girls who have served in past and present and are grateful for their sacrifices. We are looking for Old Girls who may wish to share their story of their time in service - contact [email protected]. We would also like to seek the support of our community in identifying a suitable speaker for the ANZAC day Assembly at Somerville House on Wednesday 27th April.
Do you know an Old Girl who has been involved with the Australian Defence Forces and would be willing to share her experience with Years 7-12 students? In previous years students and staff have enjoyed hearing from Old Girls who have served as medics and pilots in the Army and Navy. The speech could be live or pre-recorded if the Old Girl is not currently in Brisbane.
