Introducing our three panel speakers;
Elisa Choy (Class of 1997) Managing Director of Maven Data - Economist, adviser, media commentator and global speaker

Elisa Choy is an Australian economist, advisor, media commentator and global speaker with over 20 years’ experience turning data into decisions. As a 21st century mandarin, she translates what she sees in data – in other words, predictive insights to empower leaders to make better decisions using big data and AI.
Dubbed ‘the Election Whisperer’, Elisa accurately predicted the ‘unpredictable’ including major elections in Australia and the US, winners of reality TV shows and topical events. She brings a live pulse to any market and communicates the truth she sees in the data.
She is founder and managing director of Maven Data, the world’s first AI-powered strategic market research company that predicts macro trends and how people will behave in the future. See our earlier news piece on Elisa Choy HERE.
Marie Mortimer (Class of 1999) Managing Director of loans.com.au - recipient of QCF 2021 SME Philanthropist of the Year

Marie Mortimer is the Managing Director of loans.com.au, one of Australia's largest online lenders.
Marie launched loans.com.au in 2011 with the support of wholesale funder Firstmac and since that time, she has grown it into a business with $6 billion worth of home loans and car loans under management.
She is passionate about developing the FinTech industry in Australia, she is both a director of FinTech Australia and FinTech Queensland, and is a proud Rise-Up Academy Member, a global movement to increase diversity and the voice of women in financial services globally. Jeanie Wylie (Class of 1997) - Founder of paddock to plate restaurant "Frida's Field" set in Byron Bay and listed in 2022 SMH Good Food Guide

Jeanie Wylie founded and runs a paddock-to-plate restaurant called Frida's Field which is set on a 120 acre regenerative farm in the Byron Bay Hinterland. Together with her husband, Jeanie manages the business as well as the farm - she spends half her week getting her hands dirty in the market garden and food forest; and the other half doing marketing, strategy and administration. Jeanie left Somerville in grade 11 to complete her high schooling at a boarding school called Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire, USA. She returned to the University of Queensland, completing an Arts Degree in Philosophy and English; and then did a Masters of Business majoring in Marketing at the University of Sydney where she focused on the concept of "ethical consumerism". After graduating and working in communications, marketing and market research, she landed her dream job in London as Insights & Planning Manager for Cafedirect - a coffee company which initiated the entire FairTrade movement. As a passionate foodie, having an interest in growing food and farming was a natural extension for Jeanie - solidified by exposure to different food trends and cultures while traveling in India, Sri Lanka, South East Asia and Europe. Jeanie returned to Queensland to start a family, raising 3 children while experimenting with growing food on the farm where her husband grew up. They moved to their "forever farm" in the Byron Bay Hinterland in 2015 and started chipping away at their dream of building a sustainable farm and food business - launching Fridas Field in September 2020. Frida's Field is listed in the 2022 SMH Good Food Guide (Australia's home of the hats) and has been featured in numerous press articles, including the prestigious Australian Gourmet Traveller Magazine.
